Rural space

This territory encompasses all non-urban areas, defined demographically by population size. In Spain, this includes places with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants. Functionally, these areas primarily support agricultural, livestock, and forestry activities (the primary sector), although they also include industrial activities mainly related to the initial processing of raw materials and tertiary activities. Other dominant features of these territories are areas with minimal human impact or natural spaces.
