Young farmer

A farmer who is under 40 years of age in the calendar year of their first eligible aid application and has taken on the role of farm manager. They can demonstrate adequate training or qualifications in the agricultural field, which will be determined by combining criteria of formal education and professional training, with a minimum of 150 hours of instruction.
