Third sector

Economic activities that do not produce goods, but rather provide services demanded by the population to satisfy their intangible needs. This is a highly heterogeneous sector that includes a wide variety of public and private activities, such as commerce, communication, healthcare, education, finance, tourism, leisure, etc. It is also known as the service sector. The contribution of the tertiary sector to the national GDP is 701% of GDP.
