A business is an organizational unit or institution comprised of human, material, and technical resources, dedicated to the production or provision of goods or services for economic purposes, to satisfy the needs and demands of society. There are different types of businesses; industrial businesses are those responsible for transforming inputs and raw materials into intermediate and final goods. Multinational or transnational corporations are large and employ several thousand people. They also have subsidiaries, primarily production facilities, in numerous countries, and their capital is acquired through a process of multinational accumulation.
