Globalization is a process of interaction between different countries worldwide in economic, social, political, environmental, and cultural spheres, facilitated by the implementation of free market economies, political integration into international organizations, and the development of transportation. All of this facilitates long-distance trade and new information and communication technologies, which enable instant communication and the rapid dissemination of ideas. As a result of this process, the globalization of the economy stands out, exacerbating regional inequalities, along with cultural homogenization, leading to a degree of acculturation.
