Dehesa

A type of agro-silvo-pastoral exploitation typical of the Mediterranean region and southern Spain, in which agricultural, livestock, and forestry activities are combined in hollowed-out areas of Mediterranean forest, giving rise to a cultural landscape created and maintained by the local population.
