Topographic map

A map that represents the Earth's surface in three dimensions, to scale and using a projection system, including both physical and human-made features. Relief is represented by contour lines, which connect points of equal altitude, or by different colors (hypsometric tints). Other elements are represented using conventional symbols and colors, which are described in the legend. Toponymic annotations are also included.
