Owner of exploitation
A natural or legal person, or any group of natural or legal persons, who holds the power to make decisions in relation to the agricultural activities carried out on the agricultural holding, obtains the benefits and assumes the business risk arising from the agricultural activity.

Waste
These are considered to be deposits of residual products, likely to contaminate continental waters, surface or underground, directly or indirectly in channels, regardless of their nature, as well as those made underground or in the ground, through bags or excavations by evacuation, injection or deposit.
Vulnerable areas
1. Known areas of the territory whose runoff flows into the waters affected by pollution and those that could be affected by pollution if appropriate measures are not taken. 2. Area of the territory delimited and designated in application of Directive 91/676/EEC and which has similar agricultural and soil-climatic characteristics.
Probe
Drilling in the ground, of greater or lesser diameter, and at different depths to obtain groundwater samples, evaluate their flow and be used for different purposes.
agricultural land
It is the natural or artificial environment where agricultural and forestry activities are carried out and which, for the purposes of this Royal Decree, includes land dedicated to primary agricultural production, fast-growing forest plantations, cultivation substrates and hydroponic media dedicated to the aforementioned activities.
Hydromorphic soils
Temporarily or permanently saturated soils, in which the water retention capacity reaches values close to or greater than 80%. Excess water leads to the depletion and even disappearance of soil oxygen, causing anaerobic processes that hinder crop development and microbial activity.

Biodegradable organic waste
Residue or by-product of plant or animal origin used as raw material that can be transformed by the action of aerobic or anaerobic microorganisms and give rise to a type of organic amendment, the description of which is included in Annex IV of Royal Decree 506/2013, of June 28, on fertilizer products.
