Enhanced conditionality

Its objective is to contribute to the development of sustainable agriculture by raising awareness among beneficiaries about the need to comply with these basic standards, and to better meet the expectations of society in general, thanks to greater coherence of this policy with objectives related to the environment, public health, plant health, and more.

Beneficiary

The natural or legal person, or group of natural or legal persons, including joint property partnerships, unexpired estates or joint heirs' associations, non-commercial civil partnerships, and jointly-owned operations, that submits an application for assistance to qualify for any of the regulated aid.

Farmer

Any natural or legal person, or any group of natural or legal persons, who owns an agricultural holding located in Spain and who carries out agricultural activity.

EU Regulation 2115/2021 rules on aid to PEPACs
