Zero growth

A demographic situation characterized by population stagnation in a region where the balance between births and deaths is zero or nearly zero. This is characteristic of developed countries like Spain (where we have even entered a period of decline, with more deaths than births since 2015) and leads to the aging of the population.

Natural or vegetative growth

Positive or negative variation in the population of a place due to its natural movement (birth and mortality).
