General and specific reports on the state of irrigation, showing its evolution over time in the technical, economic, social and environmental fields for its sustainability.

A fundamental antecedent to these reports is the diverse and extensive studies that the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) has been carrying out on irrigation planning. These studies characterized the territorial reality from its different perspectives and allowed, through the Royal Decree 329/2002, of April 5, the approval of a National Irrigation Plan.
